I don’t know about you, but I am a big believer in vision boards.
My word for the year was “RISE,” but I had no idea at the start of this year how much meaning I would find in it.
To close out the year, I want to celebrate one of my clients…
Not only does she encompass my “RISE” mantra, but she echoes my belief that when women invest in themselves they step into their power and raise their voice.
Vesile and I met during a school project for our daughters. I could see her passion, not only in creating her art – traditional Ebru water marbling – but also in teaching and educating others in this ancient art form.
During our initial conversation, we spoke a mile a minute about where her business was going this year. She did a little bit of everything (workshops, products, shows) but her website wasn’t representing her as the professional expert in her field that I saw before me.
Using the images we captured during her on-location branding photography session, Vesile built a beautiful website that allowed her passion expertise and beautiful work to shine.
I encourage all of my branding clients to think of their “Brand Essence” words.
The brand essence words I hold for Katie Soyka Photography are “Positive, Uplifting and Beautiful” because that is how I want clients to experience working with me. When I think back on working with Vesile throughout this year, she is a visual representation of these three words.
From helping her hone in on her message and vision, to delivering professional images she can use to connect with her ideal clients through her website and social media – this is my why. Highlighting her business at Do Ebru is a perfect way for me to wrap up my last blog of the year!
My photography is about getting at the inner light of you, stepping into your power and raising your voice. I am so proud of the women I have worked with during this trying year to send their message into the world. Having strong branding to help you connect with your ideal clients is where I come in.
